Recently I read both Garden Spells and The Sugar Queen by Sarah Addison Allen. The books are pure magic! If you loved Practical Magic, and like the writings of Alice Hoffman, then Allen's books are even better. I can't imagine any friend I wouldn't suggest these books to. Read them, read them now!
